It was great till they forced the romance with the writer. The MC is interesting on his own, his skills and experience and attitude are great and really draws you in, no cheap tricks, just good character and writing but then the author suddenly wants romance and forces the writer on us. Literally the only reason she exists is so the author can create romance scenes every time shes on screen. She goes out of her way to do a lot of things to help the mc and the author tries very hard to make us like the write. The writer was alright at first but then she stopped being her own character and just became a plot device for the mc and became nothing more than the chick who ends up with the mc. Her role as a writer with skills was reduced to “the mc’s future cum dumpster”, the romance fans will eat this up despite it affecting the story quality negatively.
had potential when it was focused on the characters themselves but became annoying when the author made his characters 1 dimensional and way too predictable to a cringe level.
